Peanut Butter

Lavi Spicy Peanut Butter is transforming lives in Haiti by improving smallholder farmer productivity, creating jobs, linking smallholder farmers to stable markets, and bringing nutritious snacks to schools. We purchase peanuts to make Lavi Spicy Peanut Butter directly from a local network of 3,500+ Haitian farmers, linking them to a new export market in the United States. This was virtually unheard of for peanuts from Haiti before we began working there.

To help improve childhood nutrition in Haiti, we have partnered with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Model School Network to provide nutritious snacks to 4000 students per day. The ingredients for the peanut-based snacks are sourced from the very farmer communities where the children live and go to school.
